My sweet, encouraging husband even said it tasted good... as long as you don't mind the texture.
However, he couldn't resist comparing it to orphanage gruel and saying something along the lines of "please sir, can I have some more?"
Mom, you taught me a lot about cooking, but I sure don't have to worry about running out of things to learn any time soon!
...at least I'm good humored. =)
